SERVICES PROVIDED

We provide highly personalized treatment based on the scientifically proven principles of Applied Behavior Analysis by developing individualized and effective evidence-based treatment for every child. Our teaching strategies utilize creative child-driven material to meet the unique needs of each individual and to ensure a fun and motivating learning environment.

Focused ABA generally ranges from 10-25 hours per week of 1:1 direct treatment provided by a Registered Behavior Technician. This does not include weekly oversight by the BCBA and Parent training. Focused ABA is appropriate for individuals who need treatment for only a limited number of key functional skills or have such acute problem behavior that its treatment should be the priority.

Comprehensive ABA Treatment often involves an intensity level of 30-40 hours of 1:1 direct treatment to the client per week. This does not include weekly oversight by the BCBA and Parent Training and other needed services. However, very young children may start with a few hours of therapy per day with the goal of increasing the intensity of therapy as their ability to tolerate and participate permits. Comprehensive ABA is treatment of the multiple affected developmental domains such as cognitive, social, emotional, and adaptive functioning.

CBG Treatment Guidelines outline the ABA therapy process. The process is divided into three stages; assessment process which identifies the treatment dosage often referred to as medical necessity for treatment, authorization process, and treatment process.

A developmentally appropriate ABA assessment process must identify strengths and weaknesses across domains and potential barriers to progress. The information from this process is the basis for developing the individualized ABA treatment plan.

Based on the assessment, it will be determined whether your child requires comprehensive or focused treatment. Your child will be assigned a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) who will work on goals as outlined in the treatment plan. These treatment goals are approved by the funder and updates, or changes are determined by collected and analyzed data. A Board-Certified Behavior Analyst will supervise your child’s treatment weekly and make changes to goals or programs based on data collected. Your child’s RBT may be changed to increase generalization of skills. Every 6 months, the treatment plan is required to be updated. At this time, your child’s BCBA will reach out to review progress and update the plan.
